Typography: Grimm

Grimm is a decorative blackletter typeface that draws inspiration from the artistic style of Tim Burton and Textura blackletter of northern medieval Europe. Just like with Textura, the overall body width is kept relatively thin while maintaining high contrast between thick and thin strokes. The hairline serifs on the a, i, j, and u as well as the dotted flourishes are a gentle nod to the Tim Burton style. Notable features include sharp, angular counters and thick strokes resembling those made with a chiseled nib.
